Dear my tracked URL tag,
There are some things in this world we just need to work correctly to be a civilized society; toilets, bathtubs, air conditioners, heaters, TV’s, computers, and lastly you. Because you, tracked URL tag, you are one of the main modes of communication via posts on tumblr. Other than messages, whom I’ve already had this conversation with and decided to completely ignore me, you allow us lowly tumblr users to mention someone in a reply, or to congratulate them on being an awesome blog in a follow forever/friday/monday/tuesday/any fucking day of the week you choose, or a crushes list. And you know what is important? The ability to say “I’ve acknowledged your acknowledgment of my blog, and I thank you.” But, tracked URL tag, if you don’t work correctly, if you don’t show me those posts when they are tagged, I won’t see them. Thus, feelings could possibly be hurt! Feuds could begin! False thoughts of anger could spew inside tumblr users and cause outrage and mass unfollowing! Now, I know that’s not what you mean to do when you don’t work, but that is what happens. It’s time to suck it up, tracked URL tag. Time to do your duty to queen and blog. Do what you were invented to do. Make us proud.
Love,
Me.
